

We’re rolling out WAKODO baby formula, baby food, and other products to Asian markets that are expanding due to economic development and population growth. Our mission is to contribute to the healthy growth of babies throughout Asia based on our “Always Loving Quality for Your Baby” approach to product quality, drawing on expertise gained from more than a century of supporting the healthy growth and development of babies in Japan.

To strengthen its global presence in the yeast and lactic acid bacteria industries, Asahi Group made two strategic acquisitions in 2025. It acquired Leiber GmbH, a German company refining brewers' yeast into innovative products, and Asahi Meguro Institute, Ltd. (formerly Teijin Meguro Institute), a leading player in lactic acid bacteria and probiotics. Taking advantage of our leading technology to create original value, we are striving to accelerate the Asahi Group´s contribution to the realization of a sustainable society by solving social issues through the development of new foods, supplements and ingredients.
The Asahi Group has developed a wide range of yeast products and functional ingredients through research grounded in the expertise and technologies it has cultivated over its long history. The products are now accessible to customers abroad via e-commerce platforms and through exports to our distribution partners. Our yeast products, such as dried yeast, yeast extracts, etc., are – among others - used for flavoring foods and culture media for lactic acid bacteria. The exports of functional ingredients are centered primarily on lactotripeptides.


We offer a wide range of products catered to the needs of everyone from babies to elderly people, including confectionery, freeze-dried products, health foods, beauty and diet supplements, health supplements, cosmetics, and products for infants, expectant mothers, senior citizens, and people requiring nursing care. We work to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers by selling our products through a variety of distribution channels to ensure that they are always available at stores. We also sell some of our supplements and freeze-dried food products via e-commerce sites.

MINTIA
The wide lineup of sugarless MINTIA mint tablets make it easy for customers to enjoy minty refreshment. Ever since the brand’s launch in 1996 we have continued to add new products to the diverse MINTIA lineup with careful focus on everything from deliciousness and mouthfeel to packaging. In May 2005, MINTIA won the top position in the candy tablet market in terms of sales volume, and by May 2007, it had also taken over the top spot in terms of sales value. Today, it remains a beloved, long-selling brand.

Based on the key message "Improve the quality of every day", Dear Natura offers a range of products that help protect people’s health and the health of their loved ones. As consumers’ needs have diversified, we have expanded the packaging of the Dear Natura lineup to include bottles, pouches, and other types of containers so that customers can choose from more than 100 different products according to their needs.
At our domestic plants we carry out thorough quality control and end-to-end management from the procurement of raw materials through to manufacturing and shipping. Supplement tablets are designed to be easy-to-swallow, and our protein shakes are characterized by delicious flavors that make it easy for customers to continue drinking them long-term. No colorants are added to products in the Dear Natura range. Product development takes advantage of the techniques and technologies cultivated by the Asahi Group.

EBIOS
EBIOS is a designated quasi-drug derived from natural dried brewer's yeast. The 40 nutrients contained in the purified and dried beer yeast used to make EBIOS tablets soothe and revitalize digestive systems weakened by indigestion. EBIOS was launched in 1930 and will mark its 100th anniversary in 2030. Drawing on the power of natural dried brewer’s yeast we will continue to develop our lineup of EBIOS products that suitable for people of a wide range of ages, from five-year-old children up to the elderly.
The name “EBIOS” is a portmanteau of “Ebisu”, the location of the brewery of Dai Nippon Breweries, Co., Ltd. (the predecessor of Asahi Breweries) and “Bios”, the Greek word for “life”. -

We also accept orders for the drying and powdering of a variety of functional ingredients.
